Private Placing under the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS)
Origin Energy CIC is seeking funds by way of a private share placing to further its work with local communities and landowners who are seeking to develop renewable energy schemes to benefit their communities.
The private placing of ordinary shares is restricted to potential investors who fall within one of the following exemptions under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotions) Order 2005 (the “FPO”).
– A Member of our Common Interest Group in accordance with regulation 52 of the FPO.
(Qualifying Investors are:)
– Persons certified or self certified as High Net Worth in accordance with regulation 48 of the FPO
– Certified or self certified Sophisticated Investors in accordance with regulations 50 and 50A of the FPO
– A person categorised as an Investment Professional in accordance with regulation 19 of the FPO.
